Prof. Alexandru Stratan, Doctor Habilitatus, Corresponding Member of ASM

Prof. Alexandru Stratan, the Rector of The Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova, is a prominent researcher and academician whose work has significantly contributed to the understanding and development of various aspects of the Republic of Moldova's economic landscape. He participated in numerous research projects, demonstrating a diverse and impactful contribution to varying facets of economic development and sustainability in Moldova and beyond. Alexandru Stratan's involvement in initiatives addressing competitiveness, trade, and market integration, supported by organizations like FAO, UN Women, and the European Union, highlights his commitment to fostering economic resilience and collaboration.

Prof. Liviu George Maha

Prof. Liviu George Maha, the Rector of Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi, Romania, is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in international economics and business. With a long-standing career at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, he has contributed to numerous research projects and publications, focusing on economic resilience, international labour migration, and European economic integration. Recently elected as Rector for the 2024-2029 term, Prof. Maha continues to shape the academic landscape through his leadership and expertise.

Dr. Anca Dana

Dr. Anca Dragu is a Romanian economist and politician with an impressive career in both government and finance. She has served as Romania's Minister of Public Finance and was President of the Romanian Senate from December 2020 to November 2021. With a PhD in Economics from ASE Bucharest, her dissertation focused on "Mechanisms for Ensuring Financial Stability at the International Level." Currently, Anca Dragu is the Governor of the National Bank of Moldova.

Adrian Lupușor

Adrian Lupușor is the Executive Director of the Independent Analytical Center "Expert-Grup" and brings over 15 years of experience in economic policy consulting and research. He is a PhD candidate at the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova. Adrian holds an MS in Economics and Finance from the Institute of Economic Studies at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic, and an MA in Financial-Bank Management from the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova, where he completed his undergraduate studies in International Economic Relations. His expertise includes economic development, macroeconomic and monetary policies, banking, pension systems, econometric modelling and forecasting, foreign trade, and demography.
