Prof. Gheorghe Hurduzeu
University Professor, President of Senate, Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, Romania

Prof. Gheorghe Hurduzeu is a University Professor at the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies (ASE) and currently is a President of the Academy Senate. Graduated from ASE Bucharest, he has built his entire academic career within the institution, where he earned his PhD and advanced through all academic and administrative ranks.

Throughout his career, he has held key leadership positions, most notably that of Rector of ASE Bucharest (2016–2020). During his mandate, he contributed to strengthening the university’s international position, expanding modern academic programs, and enhancing global cooperation. As Senate President, he plays a crucial role in shaping and coordinating academic and research strategies, while also ensuring the quality of the educational process.

Prof. Hurduzeu is the author and co-author of numerous scientific works published in national and international journals, focusing on such topics as European economics, economic integration, development policies, and strategic management. His research activity and involvement in national and European projects underline his recognized expertise both in the national academia and in the European scientific world.

In his career, Prof. Gheorghe Hurduzeu has distinguished himself not only as a professor and researcher but also as a visionary leader dedicated to the modernization and internationalization of Romanian economic education. He is a respected personality in the academic world and the European scientific community.

Dr. Gabriel Ioan Avrămescu
First Vice-President, Financial Supervisory Authority (A.S.F.), Romania

Dr. Gabriel-Ioan Avrămescu is First Vice-President and Executive Member of the Financial Supervisory Authority of Romania, with more than two decades of experience in public administration, financial supervision, and institutional management. He holds doctoral and master’s degrees in management and   has completed specialized training for senior public officials.

Throughout his career, he has held leadership positions at both central and regional levels, including Prefect of Galați County, Director General of the Regional Directorate of Public Finances Galați, Director of ANAF, and State Counselor in the Romanian Government. Between 2020 and 2023, he was a Member of Parliament, contributing to legislative initiatives in the economic and public administration fields.

With his expertise in public policy, financial regulation, and governance, Mr. Avrămescu provides a comprehensive perspective on current challenges and opportunities in the financial sector, and he is frequently invited to national and international debates.

Prof. Emilia Gogu
Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, Romania

Prof. Emilia Gogu is a distinguished personality in the Romanian academic world, with extensive expertise in statistics, econometrics, and quality assurance in higher education. A faculty member of the Department of Statistics and Econometrics at the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, she has dedicated her career to both educating future specialists and assuring quality standards in education and research.

Currently she   is Head of the Research Office at ARACIS, where she coordinates institutional and curricula evaluation processes, as well as the development of standards and methodologies aligned with European best practices. She also serves as an expert evaluator for ARACIS and ANACEC (Republic of Moldova), directly contributing to the modernization of the educational system.

Prof. Gogu has coordinated complex studies on the analysis and improvement of bachelor’s and master’s curricular in the field of Education Sciences, aiming to align them with labor market needs and students’ and employers’ expectations. She is also the author of high-impact publications, including The Barometer of Quality in Higher Education and The Genesis and Evolution of Higher Education in Romania – in Statistical Data, which provide valuable insights into the development of the educational system.

Prof. Emilia Gogu is not only a professor and researcher but also a promoter of quality and transparency in higher education, playing a significant role in the modernization and internationalization of universities in Romania and the Republic of Moldova.
